Report: Aaron Rodgers could miss three weeks with collarbone injury

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

If you saw it on Monday night you know that the Packers probably fear the worst with Aaron Rodgers' injury. And the early reports aren't good.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Tuesday morning that Rodgers suffered a small fracture in his collarbone and the Packers believe their QB will miss about three weeks.

However, Schefter also reports the Packers "do not want to make any determination" until after Rodgers undergoes more tests on Tuesday.

Mike McCarthy -- and Rodgers himself -- had no interest in discussing the possible injury on Monday night.

"They don't have an exact diagnosis," McCarthy said. "No timeline. No exact diagnosis."

ESPN's Ed Werder added an ominous note to Schefter's report, asking a source if Rodgers could end up missing the rest of the regular season.

"Possibly, but they need to see more."

Of note, former Packers QB Matt Flynn was released Monday by the Bills.
