Report: If NFL is over, Tim Tebow could pursue broadcast career

Could Tim Tebow return to football as a broadcaster? (USATSI)
We've somehow survived nine weeks of NFL football without Tim Tebow but much like Brett Favre, out of sight doesn't necessarily mean out of mind. (Yes, we know, this is largely the media's fault -- us included.)

The Patriots cut Tebow before the season and in all likelihood, his NFL carer is over. Which means that he can get on to the next phase of his life. That could involve the ministry or something much less noble: broadcasting.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Tebow has hired "prominent broadcast agent" Nick Khan of CAA, and Khan will join Jimmy Sexton in representing Tebow.

So if the NFL truly is a pipe dream going forward, Tebow could look at television jobs covering college football. Hey, it can't be that hard if Jesse Palmer can do it.

No word on what Pete Prisco thinks of all this.
