As the Saints continued to pile up points against Dallas on Sunday night, the NBC cameras kept focusing their lenses on Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant as he prowled the sideline. Perhaps they were hoping for a rant that never came.

Or maybe they were just hoping to catch Bryant doing something relevant.

Alas, neither happened, as New Orleans won in a blowout and Bryant was targeted just twice by Tony Romo.

Afterward, Bryant also declined to be outlandish when talking the press when asked why he caught just one pass for 44 yards.

“I just do as asked," Bryant said, via the San Antonio Express News. "That's what I do. I can't answer that.”

It was reported that Bryant had to get an epidural shot in order to play because of back pain. In fact, some wondered last week if he was suffering from a disc problem. But Bryant said his back wasn't the issue.

“I promise you…ain't nothing wrong with it," Bryant said Sunday night.

Or, you know, his lack of production could be attributed to the Saints and their double-teams.

“Dez gets a lot of attention every week,” coach Jason Garrett said. “As you guys know, we talk about that a lot. Teams will come out and they will double him a lot of different ways. That Saints did that. They did that in all our different formations and all of our different personnel moves that we were using. He is one of those guys that they want to take out of the game.”
