Report: Mike Pouncey won't play Week 11

Dolphins center Mike Pouncey will not play Week 11 vs. San Diego because of an illness, according to ESPN. Pouncey, who is listed as questionable, was expected to play, but he's not healthy enough.

NFL Network reports Pouncey ended up in the hospital Friday because of issues with his kidney and gallbladder.

Patriots defensive backs ruled out

The Patriots ruled out two defensive backs for Week 11 against the Panthers, due to injury. Alfonzo Dennard (knee) and Steve Gregory (finger) will both sit out Monday's game.

The team could also be without two more defensive backs due to injuries. Kyle Arrington (groin) and Aqib Talib (hip) are both questionable for Monday's game, after being limited through the week in practice.

Paul Posluszny out vs. Cardinals

Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny has not been cleared to play Sunday against the Cardinals after suffering a concussion in Week 10. It will be the first game he's missed since joining the Jags before the 2011 season.

Seahawks activate Russell Okung

The Seahawks activated tackle Russell Okung (toe) from injured reserve Saturday, and he could be active in week 11, for the first time since Week 2. B.J. Daniels was released to make room on the roster.

Percy Harvin expects to make season debut vs. Vikings

It's been over a calendar year since Percy Harvin last played in an NFL game, but that drought should end on Sunday. Harvin was a full participant in Seattle's practice Friday, and after the workout, Harvin sounded like someone who plans to be on the field Sunday.

Michael Crabtree likely won't be active this week

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said "it doesn't look probable" that the team will activate Crabtree from the PUP list this week. Crabtree suffered an Achilles injury during the offseason.

Ziggy Ansah not expected to play vs. Steelers

The rookie first-round pick suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 8 and will miss his second consecutive game.

Jimmy Graham upgraded to probable

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham (elbow, foot) is officially probable against the 49ers, a good sign after he was listed as probable for the previous two games. Graham was limited throughout the week in practice as a result of his injuries, and it is not yet clear if he will be on a snap count as in previous games.

Calvin Johnson probable

Lions receiver Calvin Johnson is probable against the Steelers.

Johnson was able to return to practice Friday after missing both Wednesday and Thursday. He's been dealing with a knee injury, but should be able to play through the pain again.

Christian Ponder probable

Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is probable against the Seahawks.

Ponder returned to practice this week, but was limited each day. He's dealing with a shoulder injury, but has said he'll try to play through it Sunday.

Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey will probably not play in the AFC West showdown against Kansas City on Sunday. He has been designated as doubtful with a foot injury that has all but wiped out his season.

Aaron Rodgers ruled out

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been ruled out. Rodgers was not expected to play due to a broken collarbone. He has not been able to practice yet since sustaining the injury.

Jay Cutler, Lance Briggs out vs. Ravens

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is out against the Ravens. The move was expected after Cutler injured his ankle against the Lions in Week 10. He hasn't practiced because of the injury and was seen in a hard cast Thursday.

Bears linebacker Lance Briggs also will miss the game. Briggs was not expected to play because of a shoulder issue. He had previously been ruled out before Friday's report.
