That was the day Flynn threw for 480 yards and six touchdowns and began his whirlwind tour around the league in which he got paid plenty of money but lost the starting quarterback competitions in Seattle and Oakland.
But for now, he's just holding a place for Rodgers until he gets healthy enough to play. Rodgers participated in practice this week, but coach Mike McCarthy never seemed to believe Rodgers would be ready to go vs. the Lions.
Dietrich Smith (knee) out for day
Packers center Evan Dietrich Smith injured his knee late in the first half of the game vs. the Lions, and he's out for the game. Originally, the team announced he was questionable to return.
It's bad news for Green Bay, which allowed three sacks to Detroit in the first half.
Bryant is dealing with a back injury. He's been able to practice in full all week. Bryant has been dealing with the injury for a few weeks, but he has not missed a game this season. -- Chris Cwik
Darren McFadden, who has apparently lost his featured back status with the Raiders, has been deemed questionable for Thursday in Dallas with a hamstring problem that has kept him out for the last three games. He will see limited action behind Rashad Jennings if he is active. -- MG
Houston is dealing with a foot injury. He was unable to take part in practice this week. Darius Slay is in line to start his third game of the season. -- CC
Only Holloman was able to practice this week. He was limited in practice both Monday and Tuesday. Lee, Durant, Claiborne and Harris were unable to practice. -- CC
