Below are playoff clinching scenarios heading into Week 14. Seattle now has a stranglehold on the NFC No. 1 seed with a convincing win on Monday night and Denver is in the AFC drivers seat, but New England is lurking.

Playoff picture: Updated standings, tiebreakers

WEEK 14 SCENARIOS

AFC

KANSAS CITY can clinch a playoff berth with:

  1. WIN + MIA loss/tie
  2. WIN + BAL loss/tie
  3. TIE + MIA loss
  4. TIE + BAL loss

DENVER can clinch a playoff berth with:

  1. WIN or TIE
  2. MIA loss/tie
  3. BAL loss/tie

INDIANAPOLIS can clinch the AFC South division title with:

  1. WIN
  2. TEN loss
  3. TIE + TEN tie

NEW ENGLAND can clinch the AFC East division title with:

  1. WIN + MIA loss/tie
  2. TIE + MIA loss

NEW ENGLAND can clinch a playoff berth with:

  1. WIN + BAL loss/tie
  2. TIE + BAL loss

NFC

SEATTLE has clinched a playoff berth.

Can clinch the NFC West division title and a first round playoff bye with:

  1. WIN or TIE

NEW ORLEANS can clinch playoff berth with:

  1. WIN + ARI loss + DAL loss/tie + PHI loss/tie (both DAL and PHI can't tie)
  2. WIN + ARI tie + SF loss + DAL loss/tie + PHI loss/tie (both DAL and PHI can't tie)

CAROLINA can clinch playoff berth with:

  1. WIN + ARI loss + SF loss + DAL loss/tie + PHI loss/tie (both DAL and PHI can't tie)
