Giants WR Victor Cruz suffers multiple injuries against Seattle

It was a painful day for Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. During the third quarter of New York's 23-0 loss to Seattle, Cruz jumped in the air to make a play on an Eli Manning pass and was slammed to the ground by Seahawks defensive back Jeremy Lane. Cruz suffered a concussion and a sprained knee on the play and didn't return to the game. After the game, coach Tom Coughlin had no update on Cruz's condition. "I haven't been into the medical room," Coughlin said. "I haven't looked at that play, but the kid went up and made a heck of an effort and came down on the side of his helmet. I know he came down on the side of his head, so we'll see."

Browns defense struggles after CB Joe Haden injures hip

The Bears scored 21 points in the fourth quarter against Cleveland and they did it while the Browns were missing shutdown cornerback Joe Haden. Haden left the game in the third quarter after suffering a hip injury. Browns coach Rob Chudzinski called Haden's injury a 'hip pointer' and said Haden would be evaluated on Monday. As for Haden, he told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he took a knee to the hip and he doesn't believe the injury is that bad.

Patriots lose LT Nate Solder to head injury

Nate Solder almost didn't play against the Dolphins on Sunday after suffering a concussion last week, but Solder ended up getting cleared and he started in Miami. However, Solder didn't finish the game though because he suffered another head injury. The injury hasn't officially been diagnosed as a concussion, but all signs are pointing to that. After being injured in the second half, Solder was immediately ruled out for the rest of the game. According to the Boston Herald, this would be Solder's fourth concussion in his three-year career.
