The highlight of Tyler Wilson's NFL career thus far came when his name was called on the final day of the 2013 NFL draft when it was announced that the Raiders had selected him in the fourth round (Wilson was hanging out in Wal-Mart at the time).
Since then, he lost a chance at the starting job to Terrelle Pryor, and Matt Flynn beat him out for the backup role (funny how neither of those guys are the current starter in Oakland), and he was so unimpressive in the preseason that the team cut him in favor of undrafted free agent Matt McGloin.
It's a great deal for Wilson. Since he was on the Raiders practice squad for most of the season -- except when he was added to the 53-man roster temporarily to back up McGloin when Pryor was injured -- he'll be forced to go right onto the Titans active roster.
