Steelers put LaMarr Woodley on IR with calf injury

A rough Steelers season took another hit on Tuesday, when the Steelers placed outside linebacker and primary pass rusher LaMarr Woodley on injured reserve.

Woodley missed three weeks (Weeks 11-13) with a left calf injury and left the Bengals game on Sunday night with a right calf injury.

He's now done for the year; Pittsburgh signed Jamaal Westerman to take his place.

Woodley will finish the season with five sacks in 11 games as well as one pass deflection and a forced fumble.

The Steelers are already facing a seriously uphill to get in the playoffs. Making it without Woodley will be even tougher.
