Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill returns after knee injury

By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Writer

For most of Sunday, the Dolphins have looked completely uninterested in beating the Bills and keeping alive their playoff hopes. Luckily, they'll get to mount a comeback against Buffalo with their starting quarterback.

Ryan Tannehill had to leave the game temporarily after Kyle Williams sacked him and appeared to land on Tannehill's legs. He was questionable to return with a knee injury.

Backup Matt Moore took Tannehill's place in the game, and he threw an interception to end his first series of action to keep Miami behind by 13 points early in the fourth quarter. Tannehill then came back into the game on the next series. You can follow the action here.

Oh, and this might be important: earlier in the game, the Dolphins officially broke their club record for most sacks allowed in a season, including six on Sunday.
