Mike Munchak is one of those coaches on the hot seat whose fate seemingly could go either way. He hasn't had an impressive resume with the Titans since he was hired three years ago, but there are times when Tennessee seems on the cusp of breaking through and becoming a playoff contender.

And it sounds like we won't know Munchak's fate for a few days.

He told reporters Monday that he'll meet with general manager Ruston Webster in the next couple days and with owner Tommy Smith later this week.

Until then, it appears as though it's business as usual in Tennessee.

For his part, Munchak is acting like he'll keep his job, meeting with the team Monday and talking with his players about the offseason schedule.

Aside from his own job, the jobs of defensive coordinator Jerry Gray and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains (as well as all of Munchak's assistants, of course) hang in the balance. While Munchak's contract runs through 2014, his coordinators are not under contract for next year.

Though Munchak admitted it was tough not knowing his job status, he told his players they shouldn't fret about it.
