NFL blackouts update: Jim Irsay says Colts won't be blacked out

Good news for Indianapolis-area Colts fans: It appears that Saturday's playoff game with the Kansas City Chiefs will not be blacked out.

So it sounds like everybody wins in Indy.

The Bengals, however, are still in trouble. The team will have until 4:30 p.m. ET Friday to sell their remaining tickets. Some Cincinnati-area businesses have stepped up already, but not yet enough to get the Bengals over the hump.

And Kroger has apparently followed Meijer's lead in Cincinnati.

According to Reedy, the Bengals still had between 5,000 and 6,000 tickets left to sell as of Friday morning. Kroger apparently bought up tickets and, like Meijer, will be dispersing them to military families.

The Packers, too, are not yet in the clear, though they have less seats remaining than Cincy.

Weather, of course, has played a role in driving Packers and Bengals fans away -- something Indy didn't need to concern itself with. It is supposed to feel like 20 degrees below freezing Sunday in Green Bay. Still, there doesn't appear to be much concern on the Packers' part.

All told, it looks like it will be viewing as usual this weekend.
