The Green Bay Packers have announced that, thanks to some corporate sponsors, the team has sold out Lambeau Field for Sunday's game against the 49ers and avoided a local blackout.

"We're very thankful to Packers fans, and our partners led by Associated Bank, for ensuring Sunday's game will be sold out," Packers president/CEO Mark Murphy said in a release. "A unique season and other factors contributed to having tickets available, but with the support of our fans and partners, we're looking forward to a great atmosphere Sunday at Lambeau Field for the playoff game against the 49ers. We also know fans around the state will be able to enjoy the telecast."

This development was expected, and now just the Cincinnati Bengals face the possibility of a blackout. However, Kroger snatched up a significant amount of tickets Friday morning, so it appears as though blackouts will be dodged across the board.

The Colts announced Friday morning that they, too, had sold out thanks to a sponsor.
