If you watched the Denver Broncos beat the Chargers in the divisional round of the playoffs on Sunday, you may have noticed that while the Broncos were on offense, Peyton Manning used the word 'Omaha.' A lot.
If you want to know how many times Manning said 'Omaha' during the game, you can watch the video below and count. I tried to count, but I lost track at 25, so it was definitely more than 25.
So what does Omaha mean? Manning finally answered that question on Wednesday. Although, by answering the question, he might have raised more questions than he actually answered.
"I know a lot of people ask what Omaha means..." Manning said. "Omaha is a run play, but it could be a pass play or a play-action pass, depending on a couple things: which way we're going, the quarter, and the jerseys that we're wearing. It varies, really, from play to play. So, there's your answer to that one."
Basically, Manning's given everything away, but he's given nothing away.
