The odds are good that it will be very, very cold during Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium. Roger Goodell doesn't mind though -- the NFL Commissioner will reportedly be sitting outside for the NFL championship.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the commish's seats (which, just a guess, are probably pretty close to the field) are outside and that he'll spend the game soaking in the the temperature.
Goodell hasn't been shy in terms of being a proponent of the outdoors Super Bowl in New York. It's going to be part of his legacy as commissioner.
He's said he's not worried about the weather and by braving the elements with the rest of the world, he's doing a good job of putting his money where his mouth is.
