Don't know if you've heard or not but there's a Super Bowl about to be played in New York. Well, technically New Jersey, but whatever. The larger point is: WEATHER. It happens there and the Broncos and Seahawks will have to deal with it. This may be mentioned at various points over the next 11 days.

If you need further proof of the possibilities available for Mother Nature, check out the picture that NFL PR Guy Brian McCarthy (a.k.a. @NFLPRGuy) tweeted out on Wednesday. It's a shot of MetLife Stadium, the site of Super Bowl XLVIII, covered in snow and a tent, which is set up in order to paint the Seahawks end zone.

Personally I'm excited about the possibility of inclement weather for the Super Bowl. It makes the game more interesting by throwing a wrench in everyone's plans.

And snow, provided there's not a blizzard on the night of the Super Bowl, is a beautiful backdrop for football. Not everyone will share that point of view but adjusting to it might be a smart move given what we're seeing in the days leading up to the big game.
