LOOK: Boeing takes 12th man spirit to the three-mile high club

By Eric Kay | CBSSports.com Staff

Boeing was founded in 1916 in Seattle. Nearly 100 years later, Boeing went on what has to be a historic flight. It took one of its 747-8 planes out for a test flight and it, well, had a unique flight path as evidenced in the below image.

That's the Boeing plane on a No. 12 flight path. As in the Seahawks' 12th man, 15,000 feet up -- or nearly three miles -- in the sky.

Not a bad counter to Colorado's governor naming a bunch of its mountains Broncos players as sports continues to be the ultimate excuse for the crackpot schemer at the corporate office.
