Going to the Super Bowl is expensive. Super Bowl XLVIII tickets are going for, on average, $1,500. Then there's airfare, hotel, and it turns out, the Super Bowl mark-up prices for concessions once you get to the game.

Back on Earth, $26 would buy 17.9 bottles of water (assuming an average cost per bottle of $1.45), a case of Sam Adams, or enough peanuts to stock up one of those Doomsday Prepper underground pantries.

But, hey, you can't put a price on memories!
