The Super Bowl is known for its tight security, but apparently it wasn't tight enough after the game on Sunday -- and Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith found that out the hard way. While Smith was at the podium doing his postgame press conference, he received a rude interruption from a 9/11 truther.

The unidentified man took the microphone from the Seahawks linebacker and tells everyone to "Investigate 9/11. Nine-eleven was perpetrated by people in our own government."

This all transpired on live television.

Smith seemed a little surprised by the weird interruption, but then like any good Super Bowl MVP, he puts the distraction behind him and moves forward with his interview.

As for the truther, it looks like he'll be spending the night in jail. According to the New York Post, 30-year-old Matthew Mills was in a New Jersey jail as of 12:15 a.m. ET Monday morning. Mills told NJ.com that he got into the game by using a credential from a festival he once attended, "I just said I was running late for work and I had to get in there," Mills said. "It was that simple."
