Man suing Aaron Hernandez shot, arrested outside Conn. nightclub

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

A man who has filed suit against Aaron Hernandez for shooting him in the face was shot outside of a Hartford, Conn. nightclub on Sunday night and then arrested on gun charges after opening fire with a gun of his own.

Alexander Bradley ended up taking several shots to his right thigh according to the Hartford Police Department.

"Evidence revealed there was a disturbance in the club that was pushed outside by staff," Lt. Brian Foley said via the Associated Press. "At this point, Bradley was shot. Bradley went to a vehicle, got a gun, then shot up the front of the club."

Bradley was outside the Vevo Lounge Bar & Grill when the incident occurred. Police stopped a car speeding away from the scene, at which point Bradley fell out of the car and was arrested.

He was charged, per the AP, with criminal use of a firearm, reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge, stealing a firearm, criminal possession and having a gun with an obliterated serial number.

When the AP attempted to contact Bradley's lawyer, Robert Pickering, they were hung up on. The nightclub in question didn't answer the phone.

Bradley was scheduled to testify in front of a grand jury relating to Hernandez. He's a convicted drug dealer and there's no doubt that this latest run-in doesn't look any better for his "character" status.
