If you're an NFL fan who happens to watch soap operas or a soap opera fan who happens to watch the NFL, then your worlds are about to collide. Fresh off a win in Super Bowl XLVIII, Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson will be appearing on CBS Daytime's "The Young and the Restless."
Robinson filmed the cameo in mid-February and the episode with his appearance is scheduled to air on March 13 on CBS (12:30-1:30 p.m. ET; 11 a.m.-Noon PT).
During Robinson's scene, he'll appear with Daytime Emmy winner Eric Braeden, who stars as tycoon Victor Newman.
"It was an amazing experience," Robinson said of being on-set. I've been a fan for years and it was great to meet the personalities on the show. I've always thought Y&R was the best show on daytime television because their story lines are always entertaining and intriguing. They welcomed me with open arms and I felt like a part of the Y&R family."
Quick fact: "The Young and the Restless" has actually been around longer than Robinson. The 31-year-old Seahawks fullback was born in 1983, a full 10 years after the show aired its first episode in March 1973.
