Lofa Tatupu was a Pro Bowl linebacker for the Seahawks from 2005-07, but he missed much of the 2009 season with a torn pectoral muscle and was ineffective in 2010. Then, he had knee surgeries in January 2011, and we haven't seen him in an NFL uniform since (though he did work out with the Falcons in 2012 before suffering a torn pectoral).
But that apparently doesn't mean the 31-year-old Tatupu has given up the dream of returning to the NFL.

Sure, Tatupu hasn't played in three years, but as friend of the blog, Darin Gantt, points out on PFT, Packers defensive tackle Johnny Jolly also didn't play for three seasons (albeit for slightly different reasons than Tatupu) before returning in 2013. And Jolly played well, so if he can do it, maybe Tatupu can as well.
