Colts punter Pat McAfee is coming back home. The hardest-hitting punter in the NFL agreed to a five-year deal with Indianapolis on Friday that will keep him on the Colts for the foreseeable future.

And in typical "Boomstick" fashion, McAfee announced the news on live television during the final day of his run on NFL Network's NFL AM.

"It's March 7, 2014. Some know it as Jeff Feagles birthday. Some know it as the last day at NFL AM for me," McAfee said. "But my phone vibrated about five minutes ago and let me know that I have agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts for five years. So I will be an Indianapolis Colt for five years. Really pumped about it. This is really cool. I love the city of Indianapolis. I'm so excited to be there for another five years."

Per Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, the deal is worth $14 million and contains $5 million in guaranteed money.

McAfee was 11th in the NFL in average yards per punt (46.0) and tied for 13th in punts inside the 20-yard-line (27, tying a Colts franchise record). He had a whopping SIX punts inside the 20 against the Broncos in a Sunday night upset.

Oh and he also did this:

Boom. Stick.
