For the third time this offseason, a Ravens player has been arrested. This time it's backup offensive lineman Jah Reid, who was arrested early Sunday morning in Key West, Fla., and charged with two misdemeanor counts of battery, according to the Baltimore Sun.
According to police, Reid and another man named Benjamin Buxton fought with "several other people" at the Red Garter Saloon, and when police viewed surveillance video, they saw Reid head-butting, punching and kicking a man.
When security officials tried to break up the fight, police said Reid began punching them as well.
Both Reid and Buxton were released on $2,000 bonds.
"We have learned of the situation and are gathering information," the Ravens said in a statement.
Reid, who was drafted by Baltimore in the third round of the 2011 draft, is coming off a 2013 season in which he played 10 games but started none. He had started seven of the nine games he played in 2012.
