Despite missing most of the 2013 season after undergoing neck surgery, Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw isn't ready to retire. The 27-year-old signed a one-year deal with Indianapolis on Tuesday, the team announced.

Before Bradshaw's season ended after Week 3, he actually got off to a good start for the Colts. In three games, Bradshaw rushed for 186 yards on 41 carries and scored two touchdowns. That total includes a 19-carry, 95-yard performance in Week 3 against a 49ers defense that finished fourth in the NFL against the rush.

Some time between Week 3 and Week 4, Bradshaw suffered a neck injury that eventually led to the surgery that ended his season. Even though he only played in three games, Bradshaw still finished fourth on the team in rushing, only 351 yards behind season-leader Donald Brown.

Bradshaw will be heading into his second season with the Colts. The former seventh-round pick of the Giants originally signed with Indianapolis in June after six seasons in New York.
