Signing Justin Tuck Thursday afternoon didn't preclude the Raiders from adding another pass rusher. The team agreed to terms with former Steelers outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley, and according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, it's a two-year deal with a maximum value of $12 million.

Woodley was originally a 2007 second-round pick out of Michigan. From 2008-2010, he started 47 out of a possible 48 games and logged 35 sacks. That earned him a six-year, $61.5 million extension.

But since 2011, Woodley has started 33 of 48 games and managed just 18 sacks. The Steelers released him earlier this week, after using the transition tag on linebacker Jason Worilds, whom they will try to sign to a long-term extension this offseason.

When healthy, Woodley is a force. Despite missing five games in 2013, he ranked as the 10th-best 3-4 outside linebacker (two spots ahead of Worilds, incidentally), according to ProFootballFocus.com. The issues, of course, is staying healthy.
