Left tackle Donald Penn, who was released by the Buccaneers last week after spending all seven years of his career in Tampa Bay, reportedly has a new job.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Penn has agreed to terms with the Raiders.

Penn, the No. 40 player on the free agent list, has been a solid left tackle for much of his career, but he's never been considered one of the best in the league. Yet, considering Oakland let Jared Veldheer walk away in free agency and then blew off the Rodger Saffold deal, getting a decent left tackle in Penn is a victory for the organization.

Penn also had been pursued by the Redskins, and now, it'll be interesting to see if 2013 second-round pick Menelik Watson will have the chance to beat out Penn for the starting job in Oakland.
