A day after Buccaneers receiver Mike Williams was stabbed in the thigh, sending him to the hospital, Williams' brother has turned himself into police, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Eric Baylor, 23, turned himself into police at 10 p.m. ET on Monday to face a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/domestic violence. He was held overnight without bond.

Williams, who was released from the hospital with reportedly minor injuries, reportedly had suggested to police that the stabbing was accidental -- reportedly he told police the two were wrestling when the incident occurred -- but the Times writes that police interviews with other witnesses and evidence gathered at the scene suggested a different version of events.

Meanwhile, Williams is still facing misdemeanor criminal mischief and trespassing charges from an incident in December.

As of Monday, the Buccaneers still hadn't made contact with Williams.

"We've reached out to Mike," general manager Jason Licht said. "We've yet to hear from him. But from what I understand, he's been treated and released, and that's a good start. Trying to gather all the facts we can now. ... Disappointed that we had a player in that situation that could have been seriously injured. From what I understand, he's been treated and released. Our primary focus right now is making sure he's OK."

Williams will be entering the second year of a six-year, $40.25 million contract but may already be finding himself falling out of favor in Tampa.
