Tom Brady, who isn't afraid to dress up for an occasion (see above), will be at the Kentucky Derby next month.
(Save your breath: WE KNOW, this is barely football-related. But it's also the middle of April and there's not a whole helluva lot of NFL news to report. If you're okay with that, keep reading. Otherwise, STOP NOW -- but just know you'll miss one of our favorite Excited Brady .GIFs ever. Your call.)
According to the Courier-Journal, the Patriots quarterback will be one of countless celebrities showing their faces at annual Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby eve gala, hosted by sisters Patricia Barnstable Brown and Priscilla Barnstable.
"It's an inexplicably magical night, a dream-like fantasy that is actually real," Barnstable Brown said, calling the spectacle "a music festival and Grammy show in my backyard."
Other sports-related guests include Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Broncos wideout Wes Welker, Lakers guard Jodie Meeks, Celtics power forward Kris Humphries and PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner.
Then there are the musical performers: Miranda Lambert, Boyz II Men, Salt-n-Peppa, Jennifer Holliday, Joey Fatone and Ann Womack, among others.
So, yeah, it should be something -- although we can't imagine it'll top the time Brady had at last year's Derby when he bet big on Orb, won, and promptly went bonkers.
