Former 49ers quarterback Joe Montana will be spending his Sunday signing autographs in San Francisco. A Super Bowl winning quarterback signing autographs in the city where he won four Super Bowls is normal.
What's not so normal is this: Apparently Montana WILL NOT WRITE 'I left my heart in San Francisco' on your memorabilia. So don't ask. Don't even bring it up. Just stop talking about it now.
For $400, Montana will autograph some artwork. For $230, he'll sign a premium item. BUT APPARENTLY THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT WILL MAKE HIM WRITE, 'I left my heart in San Francisco.'
One other note from the autograph show where Montana will be signing on Sunday: Current 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is expected to be there. Kaepernick is obviously confident that nothing will come of the investigation in Miami, otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense to show up at a public signing. Also, Kaepernick doesn't appear to have any autograph restrictions, so he presumably will sign, 'I left my heart in San Francisco.'
Anyway, Montana might not like it, but we're ending with this.
