Tyrone Moore, the brother of Falcons receiver Roddy White, was shot to death Saturday morning outside of a James Island, S.C., nightclub, according to the Charleston Post & Courier.

Moore, 21, was the half-brother of White and had lived with him in Atlanta for a number of years.

More from the newspaper:

At 2:51 a.m. Saturday, deputies was dispatched to 222 Mosquito Beach Road for a report of a shooting, Charleston County Sheriff's Maj. Eric Watson said.

Arriving deputies were told that some type of altercation occurred in front of the Lake House Club on Mosquito Beach. Witnesses told deputies that several gunshots were fired and Moore was shot. He was rushed to Medical University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Watson said.

Detectives are still looking for suspects and a motive in the shooting.

On Saturday evening, the Falcons released a statement.

“We were all saddened to learn about the death of Roddy's brother Tyrone," said owner Arthur Blank. "Roddy is part of our Falcons family, and families stand together in difficult circumstances. Roddy and his family can count on our support through this very trying time. On behalf of the entire Falcons organization, we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to Roddy, his mother Joenethia, and their entire family.”
