Considering the Browns are in need of competent receivers, it seemed a little strange last week that Cleveland decided to release receiver Greg Little, who has struggled during his career but who still seems to have potential.
It didn't take long for Little, who's averaged 55 catches per season during his three years in the league, to find another job.

According to several other reports, the Raiders indeed claimed waivers on Little, who has had a predilection in the past for dropping too many passes.
But Little's promise might be too tempting to Oakland general manager Reggie McKenzie, who now has to find targets for either free agent signee Matt Schaub or second-round pick Derek Carr. For now, Little seemingly should make the team, which also features James Jones, Denarius Moore, and Rod Streater.
