After one season, where he played in a total of five games, Quentin Groves' career in Cleveland is over. The Browns announced on Friday that they've released the outside linebacker, who they originally signed in March 2013.

Groves missed most of last season with the Browns after suffering an ankle injury in Week 2. The 29-year-old eventually returned in Week 7, only to aggravate the injury. Groves eventually underwent surgery on the ankle was was placed on injured reserve in November.

Just because Groves' Browns career is over doesn't mean he'll be leaving the AFC North. According to Cleveland.com, the Ravens could be interested in adding the veteran.

The journeyman linebacker has played for four teams in his six-year career. Groves was a second-round pick of the Jaguars in 2008 and spent two seasons in Jacksonville before moving on to Oakland (2010-11) and Arizona (2012).
