Johnathan Franklin missed the last four games of his rookie season last year after suffering a concussion and injuring his neck in Week 13. The Packers running back hasn't practiced since, and according to ESPN.com, Green Bay is worried that his neck injury might be career-threatening.

Franklin hasn't participated in the team's offseason practices, and ESPN writes that, according to two sources, the team is giving Franklin more tests "to determine whether it's safe for him to continue playing."

Franklin, drafted in the fourth round in 2013, rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries last season.

"It's too bad he got hurt," Green Bay general Ted Thompson said in January. "He was doing a good job. Everything as advertised. He's got a nice game. He's very balanced, quick, heady and confident. No, he hasn't been a disappointment at all."
