Dominique Easley was probably one of the least-heralded first-round draft picks, and that's likely because he tore his ACL last September and missed much of his final season at Florida.

But the Patriots selected him with the No. 29 overall pick, earning an A grade from CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco in the process. On Monday, the Patriots announced they had signed the defensive lineman to his four-year rookie contract.

Easley is scheduled to earn about $7.3 million for the life of his four-year deal, though the Patriots also hold the option for a fifth year. Easley should have earned a $3.63 million signing bonus.

Still, now that Easley has torn his ACL twice on non-contact plays, there likely will be continued concerns about whether he can stay out of the trainer's room.
