With Heat star LeBron James opting out of his NBA contract on Tuesday, making him a free agent, expect a number of teams to convince James that he should be play somewhere other than Miami.

Or somewhere other than the NBA.

Right, Dallas Cowboys?

That No. 6 is an interesting number for James to wear because that would make him eligible to be a quarterback and not, as many people would imagine his natural position to be, a tight end. Either way, perhaps a James signing would make Dallas fans feel more secure about the backup quarterback position with Kyle Orton weighing retirement and with Brandon Weeden taking most of the first-team reps in offseason workouts.

Funny thing, though. James actually has expressed interest before in putting on the shoulder pads.

But Dallas might have screwed up by taking Zach Martin with the No. 16 overall pick in last month's draft instead of Johnny Manziel. Because, with Johnny Football, James might have wanted to play for Dallas. Instead, it might be the Browns' lucky day.

Further proof!!!
