A homeless man was arrested at the set of Good Morning America Tuesday after brandishing a knife and making threatening claims about former Giants standout defensive end, recent Hall of Fame inductee and television host Michael Strahan, according to a report.

The New York Post reports 25-year-old Andre Johnson (no, seriously) was detained by security after pulling a knife and claiming he wanted to "kill Michael Strahan."

A "studio source" tells the Post Strahan was never in danger and didn't even realize the incident occurred until later in the day.

An ABC spokesperson told the Post the officer who arrested Johnson "heroically tackled" him when Johnson pulled the knife.

“It was a scary situation but thanks to the fast actions of NYPD the situation was quickly under control,” the spokesperson said.

According to the report, most of the audience wasn't even aware of the incident, so quickly did the police officer manage to tackle Johnson.

It's the weirdest of stories; there's almost a "I must kill the queen" thing going on. Fortunately everyone's alright and the alleged assailant's in custody after being charged with attempted assault as a felony, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
