Chiefs guard Rokevious Watkins reportedly has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, according to NFL.com. It's the second time Watkins has been suspended for violating that policy.

Watkins was a fifth-round draft pick for the Rams in 2012, and though he reportedly had a chance to win the starting left guard job his rookie season, he reported to training camp 16 pounds overweight and out of shape. Then, he suffered an ankle injury in the preseason and later was placed on the IR list because of it.

In 2013, Watkins was suspended a game for violating the league's substance abuse policy, and he was cut by St. Louis in training camp after reporting out of shape again.

He later signed with the Chiefs and played four games with one start last season.
