It's probably not a big deal, but here's something worth noting from the Saints training camp Saturday.

As noted by NOLA.com, quarterback Drew Brees is day to day because of a strained left oblique muscle suffered in practice Friday morning.

Brees missed a team scrimmage Saturday, leaving the quarterbacking work to backups Luke McCown and Ryan Griffin. The Saints, who said they will "monitor" Brees, are off Sunday and don't practice again until Monday.
