When football starts, I guess it's easy for some to forgive.

We saw that when the Ravens running back Ray Rice practiced in front of his fans late last month, and we saw that during the team's preseason game vs. the 49ers on Thursday.

Rice -- who carried the ball three times for 17 yards on Thursday -- also got big cheers when he was introduced to the crowd for the first time.

Said Rice: "Our fans are the best fans in world. I can't thank them enough for sticking by me and supporting me throughout my trials and tribulations."

Rice, as you'll recall, was recorded this offseason dragging his unconscious fiance out of a hotel elevator in Atlantic City.
