Johnny Manziel took the field for the first time in an NFL game with 7:32 to go in the second quarter of Saturday's preseason game against the Lions. As you might expect, it wasn't your garden-variety preseason get-together. The television coverage breathlessly documented his every move, from sitting idly on the bench to finally making his way to the huddle.

And 104 seconds later, it was over. Manziel completed a 6-yard pass on his first play. And after running back Terrance West gained three yards on second down, Manziel ran an option keeper to the left and came up a yard short of the sticks (see the image above).

And that was that. Like the rest of us mortals, Manziel jogged to the sidelines, replaced by the punt coverage team.

But Johnny Football wasn't done!

He was also on the field for the final snap of the first half, deftly taking a knee as time expired. He would finish with a line of 7-11 for 63 yards passing and ran the ball six times for 27 yards in the Lions' 13-12 win over the Browns.
