After the Browns' Week 2 preseason game against the Redskins, coach Mike Pettine isn't any closer to finding a starter. Both Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel looked like, well, what we've come to expect from Cleveland quarterbacks. Which is to say: There were a lot of poor decisions, bad throws and not a lot to get excited about.
But Pettine has said that he hopes to have a starter in place by the third preseason game, which means that he's running out of time. Here's to hoping Rex Grossman gets the job.
Meanwhile, we also talk about the AFC North and NFC East in the latest edition of Best-Case, Worst-Case. A little teaser: We have the Bengals finishing third in their division, and we wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys won twice. All season.
