Richie Incognito visiting Buccaneers on Monday, cleared to play by NFL

By Ryan Wilson | CBSSports.com

The Buccaneers' offensive line has struggled this preseason, and with the regular season just over a week away they're scrambling to fix the problem. And that reality explains this one: On Monday, former Dolphins guard Richie Incognito will visit the team.

If the Bucs or any other team decide to sign Incognito, he'd be eligible to play right away. According to ESPN.com, Incognito was cleared on Monday for "full activity and regular-season game participation."

This is all good news for Incognito because he still want to play. Two weeks ago Incognito told USAToday.com that the wanted to continue his NFL career and that he "had some nibbles" regarding that eventuality.

The Bucs know this all too well and if Incognito signs he could be in the starting lineup when Tampa Bay hosts Carolina -- another team with questions along the offensive line -- on Sept. 7.
