The Seahawks have decided they have no room for Terrelle Pryor on the roster. According to ProFootballTalk.com, Seattle has released Pryor, who had only been with the team for a little over four months.

Pryor was traded from the Raiders to the Seahawks in April, in exchange for a seventh-round pick.

The 25-year-old didn't have a bad preseason, Pryor completed 21 of 39 passes for 281 yards and a touchdown, but he also threw two interceptions. The dual-threat quarterback also added 97 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground.

In the end though, the Seahawks didn't feel Pryor did enough to unseat Tarvaris Jackson as the No. 2 quarterback behind Russell Wilson. Seattle also has another quarterback on the roster in the form of B.J. Daniels, who also might end up getting cut before Saturday's 4 p.m. ET deadline.

As for Pryor, he won't have the luxury of free agency just yet. Pryor will hit waivers, meaning any team can potentially claim him. If the former Raiders starting quarterback clears waivers, then he'll become a free agent.

Pryor is 3-7 in 10 career starts.

The Bills and Rams are probably the most quarterback needy teams at this point, but never discount Chip Kelly, who tried to recruit Pryor to the Pacific Northwest while Kelly was at Oregon.
