If you played football for a living, were really good at playing football and then suddenly could no longer play football, what would you do? Josh Gordon is going to sell cars.

Gordon, who was suspended by the NFL for all of 2014, "will be the goodwill ambassador for the Sarchione Auto group in Randolph, Ohio," ESPN's Josina Anderson reports.

As part of his gig, the suspended Browns receiver will be "an on-floor salesman" and also "heading all of their local community efforts" which includes working with the Wounded Warriors.

It's a touch ironic for Gordon to sell cars: he didn't get suspended as a result of swapping vehicles with P.J. Hairston, but he did get a DUI driving Hairston's car while waiting for the appeal of his suspension.

But in all seriousness, this is good for Gordon. The worst-case scenario is for him to go off the reservation during his year-long ban from the NFL, flying around the country, spending money while not earning it and generally getting in trouble.

Staying in Northeast Ohio, getting involved in the community and working to get to a better place personally is what he needs. It's obviously about more than football at this point for Gordon, but he's too talented to not figure out a way to work through his issues and get back on the field.
