New Orleans (15-3) +5/56.5 at Indianapolis (16-2)
The world appears ready to give this to the Colts, crown Manning as Emperor of the NFL, and eliminate the national debt by laying the points and taking the over. I guess it could happen that way, but I’m going to propose a different scenario. What happens if he doesn’t bring his A game? It hap

They looked great and all against the Patriots but I feel pretty confident they won't be doing anything memorable this year. They might make it to the conference championship game depending on who they get matched up against but there is no way they are going to the Super Bowl. You can trash me all you want in this post but they don't have the playoff experience and if you actually try to cover th

NY Jets (11-7) +8/40 at Indianapolis (15-2)
I’ll stick with defense and the ground game. The Jets seem to be destined to play in the big one this year. I respect Manning, but I think they got a pass over the Ravens last week. Jets 23-17.
Minnesota (13-4) +3.5/53.5 at New Orleans (14-3)

If your "experts" combine for a total of 760-788 record, they are not experts.
If 4 out of your 6 "experts" (67%) have losing records, and only 2 have winning records, they are not experts.
If one of your "experts" names is Pete Prisco, he is the opposite of an expert.
Seriously, how much longer are they going to call these guys exp

This week usually provides the absolute best football games of the NFL season. However, I like both home teams to win big this time around. But it will certainly be an entertaining day of football! Here are my amatuer picks:
Colts -7.5 over Jets - Indianapolis basically let the New York Jets into t

Why is everone so confident the Saints will beat the Vikings (who crushed the Cowboys) and the Cowboys crushed the Saints at their dome? The Saints have not faced a team like the vikings who can pressure the QB and stop the run making them one dimensional. I have a lot of respect for the Saints but I think the matchup is quite favorable for Favre and the Vikes and I can't think of anot

Our buddy Krutch gives thoughts on the major storylines entering this weekend's championship games. His thoughts on quarterbacks, the Jets' run as the underdog, last weekend's terrible placekicking, head coaching matchups, "theBrett Favre", running up th

Arizona (11-6) +7/57 at New Orleans (13-3)
The game last week was quite a show, but failing to put the Packers away after leading by 21 doesn’t bode well for the Cardinals. New Orleans has little depth in the secondary because of injuries. The best way to work around that is to run the ball, which the Saints can do better than people think. They

Bengals vs Jets
A couple years ago the Bengals were the 3 seed facing the 6 seed Steelers. Pittsburgh pulled the upset and won the Superbowl that year. Now the Bengals are finally back and I don't see them letting that happen again. The Jets defense and running game will keep it close, but a couple picks and a failure to lead his team in the 4th by rookie Sanchez res

NY Jets (9-7) +2.5/33.5 at Cincinnati (10-6)
One of the three rematches from last week. The Jets have the #1 scoring defense and the #1 rushing offense. That’s not usually a bad combination in playoff football. A lot of folks think this game is going to be much different than last week’s spanking. I’m not one of them. The Bengals hav

All the experts picked against the Vikings, except the one that actually knows what he is doing. So, this means that the Vikings are going to the Superbowl..
As long as Prisco picks against them, I am a happy camper.
Go Vikings......

the consensus picks seem to bee new orleans and indianapolis to cover there respected spreads, and since these retards pick under .500 for the most part it would be wise to go against at least one of them.....
