MATCHUP SCORE ANALYSIS

New Orleans
Saints
33
The Falcons are reeling, but you know they would love to show up here against their rivals. It's just that they are so undermanned. Can they dare keep up if they fall behind? I just don't think they can and they will have trouble stopping Drew Brees. Saints big -- if they aren't looking ahead to Seattle.
Result: New Orleans Saints 17, Atlanta Falcons 13

Baltimore
Ravens
20
The Jets are on the road again after looking terrible last week at Buffalo. The Ravens showed some offensive life in losing to the Bears; Ray Rice did some good things. But they won't run it against the Jets' top-ranked run defense. That means it's all about Joe Flacco on offense, and I will take him against Geno Smith.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 19, NY Jets 3
New York
Jets

Pittsburgh
Steelers
24
This is a survival game in the AFC North -- the losing team will be pretty much out of it. The Steelers looked good last week beating the Lions; Ben Roethlisberger got it going. The Browns defense is solid, but they were a disaster on offense last week. Jason Campbell vs. Roethlisberger? Please.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Cleveland Browns 11

Detroit
Lions
34
The Lions are back home after a tough loss to the Steelers, while Tampa Bay is riding a two-game winning streak. The Bucs are playing hard, but the Lions are in the thick of the playoff hunt. They will get that offense going at home, and the Bucs won't be able to keep up.
Result: Detroit Lions 21, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24
Tampa Bay
Buccaneers

Green Bay
Packers
28
Scott Tolzien will start for the second time here for the Packers. He did some good things last week, but made some big mistakes. I say he cuts down on the mistakes and has a solid day against a Vikings defense that isn't very good. And the Vikings are playing back-to-back road games. Packers take it.
Result: Green Bay Packers 26, Minnesota Vikings 26
Minnesota

Houston
Texans
27
Case Keenum starts for the struggling Texans against a Jaguars team that has won once -- the last time they were on the road. Jacksonville's defense is playing better, but this is a game that J.J. Watt should be able to dominate. He will cause problems for the Jaguars offense. Keenum rebounds from his benching to have a good day. Texans break their streak.
Result: Houston Texans 6, Jacksonville Jaguars 13
Jacksonville

Kansas City
Chiefs
21
The Chiefs are playing for the first time off a loss. How will they react? San Diego, though, is playing successive road games. That's always tough. The key here will be the Kansas City pass rush against Philip Rivers. Look for the Chiefs to win, but they don't blow teams out. San Diego stays around.
Result: Kansas City Chiefs 38, San Diego Chargers 41
San Diego

Carolina
Panthers
24
The Panthers head to Miami on a short week after a tough game. That's a challenge. The Dolphins, though, have to deal with the Jonathan Martin investigation this week. I just don't see how the Miami offensive line will keep Ryan Tannehill upright against that Carolina front. The Panthers keep rolling.
Result: Carolina Panthers 20, Miami Dolphins 16
Miami

St. Louis
Rams
21
The Rams are coming off a bye, while the Bears are coming off a tough, physical game with the Ravens. That will show up here. St. Louis can get after the quarterback, and they will. The Bears defense has struggled all season long. St. Louis takes it in an upset -- even with Kellen Clemens.
Result: St. Louis Rams 42, Chicago Bears 21
Chicago
Bears

Arizona
Cardinals
24
Both these teams are in the middle of the playoff race, the Cardinals maybe surprisingly. The Colts are playing consecutive road games and this one is outside the division. That's tough, even if they are rested from playing last Thursday. Arizona's defense is good, and the passing game has amped up the past couple of games. I see the Cardinals taking it.
Result: Arizona Cardinals 40, Indianapolis Colts 11
Indianapolis
Colts

Tennessee
Titans
23
The Raiders are coming off an impressive victory at Houston with Matt McGloin making his first start. The Titans are coming off a Thursday loss to the Colts. Chris Johnson looked good in that one, but the Raiders are solid against the run. I just don't see McGloin having another good day now that there is tape on him.
Result: Tennessee Titans 23, Oakland Raiders 19
Oakland
Raiders

New York
Giants
34
This is a huge game in the NFC East. The Giants have won four straight, while the Cowboys are coming off a bye with a 5-5 record. The Cowboys went into the bye struggling on defense. That shows up here again. Eli Manning will finally have his big day throwing it. Giants take it.
Result: NY Giants 21, Dallas Cowboys 24
Dallas
Cowboys

Denver
Broncos
31
It doesn't get any better than Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady. Both are coming off tough games with Brady coming off a loss. For Denver, this game is sandwiched between two against the Chiefs. But with Manning, they won't lose focus. The Broncos will have success against that New England secondary. Brady will get his, too. Fun stuff.
Result: Denver Broncos 31, New England Patriots 34

San Francisco
49ers
28
This is Robert Griffin III vs. Colin Kaepernick, two young quarterbacks who haven't lived up to the hype. But at least Kaepernick gets to face the Redskins defense, rather than his own. That matters. Kaepernick and the 49ers roll.
Result: San Francisco 49ers 27, Washington Redskins 6
