MATCHUP SCORE ANALYSIS
Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013

Cincinnati
Bengals
27
The Bengals are rolling on offense with Andy Dalton, while Miami has lost four consecutive games. The Dolphins did a nice job on Tom Brady last week, but this Bengals team has a lot of weapons. Biggest mismatch: Bengals defensive line vs. Miami offensive line. Bengals keep rolling.
Result: Cincinnati Bengals 20, Miami Dolphins 22
Miami

Buffalo
Bills
17
This is the upset special of the week. The Chiefs have done some good things on their way to an 8-0 record on defense. But the offense is so limited. I think the Buffalo defense will create big problems for the Kansas City offense. The Bills won't score a lot, but they will get enough to find a way to pull this one out.
Result: Buffalo Bills 13, Kansas City Chiefs 23
Kansas City
Chiefs
14

Carolina
Panthers
24
The Falcons are playing consecutive road games, which is tough. The Panthers are coming off a Thursday game so they will be rested. Carolina has a tough defense that can make it tough on an offense up front. The Falcons are limited in terms of offensive weapons. Cam Newton keeps it rolling, but Matt Ryan keeps it close.
Result: Carolina Panthers 34, Atlanta Falcons 10
Atlanta
Falcons
20

Dallas
Cowboys
34
The Vikings are struggling in a big way. The passing game is horrible, and so is the defense. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are home after two road games, including a tough loss last week at Detroit. They rebound in a big way here. Dallas rolls behind a big game by Tony Romo.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 27, Minnesota Vikings 23
Minnesota
Vikings
17

New Orleans
Saints
28
The Jets looked horrible against the Bengals, but that means they should be good here in their up-and-down season. The only problem is the Saints are so good on offense. If Andy Dalton can light up the New York defense, what will Drew Brees do? Saints big.
Result: New Orleans Saints 20, NY Jets 26
New York
Jets
13

St. Louis
Rams
17
The Rams were impressive on defense Monday night against the Seahawks, but now must regroup on a short week against a team coming off a bye. The Rams offense is so limited right now with Kellen Clemens. The Rams will do some good things on defense to pull this one out. But it's close.
Result: St. Louis Rams 21, Tennessee Titans 28
Tennessee
Titans
16

San Diego
Chargers
30
The Chargers are coming out of their bye with their third trip to the East Coast. They won the first two, so they are used to it. The Redskins have trouble on defense and Philip Rivers is having a big year. Bad combination. Chargers take it.
Result: San Diego Chargers 24, Washington Redskins 30
Washington
Redskins
21

Oakland
Raiders
23
The Eagles looked horrible last week against the Giants. Now they must take a long trip against a Raiders team that is playing good defense and coming off an impressive victory over the Steelers. The Eagles offense is a mess now. Oakland wins consecutive games.
Result: Oakland Raiders 20, Philadelphia Eagles 49
Philadelphia
Eagles
17

Seattle
Seahawks
30
The Bucs had a long rest to stew over their seventh loss. Now they get a long trip to face a Seattle team that is brutal to opponents at home. Mike Glennon against that Seattle secondary is a huge mismatch. And he doesn't have Mike Williams. Blowout.
Result: Seattle Seahawks 27, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24
Tampa Bay
Buccaneers
10

Cleveland
Browns
21
The Ravens are coming out of a bye and need to get it going to try to keep pace with the Bengals. If they lose here, they have problems. Jason Campbell was solid for the Browns at Kansas City. Look for him to continue to play well here.
Result: Cleveland Browns 24, Baltimore Ravens 18
Baltimore
Ravens
18

New England
Patriots
27
The Patriots don't look like the Patriots we've come to expect with their offensive struggles. The Steelers don't look like the Steelers we've come to expect either with their bad run defense. So who gets it going here? The Steelers are playing consecutive road games, and they looked bad at Oakland last week. There is no way Tom Brady stays down. Patriots get it rolling.
Result: New England Patriots 55, Pittsburgh Steelers 31
Pittsburgh
Steelers
17

Indianapolis
Colts
23
Case Keenum will start for the Texans, and not for injury reasons. It's his team now. Can he handle it? Both teams are coming off a bye week, and the Texans need it. This could be their season here. I just don't know how good they are anymore. Indianapolis takes it behind Andrew Luck.
Result: Indianapolis Colts 27, Houston Texans 24
Houston
Texans

Green Bay
Packers
30
This is the Injury Bowl. Both teams are banged up, but the Packers still have Aaron Rodgers. The Bears will be without Jay Cutler. Josh McCown starts for the Bears. Oh, boy. The Chicago defense is struggling too. Rodgers lights it up. It doesn't matter who he's throwing to on the other end.
Result: Green Bay Packers 20, Chicago Bears 27
Chicago
Bears
