MATCHUP SCORE ANALYSIS
Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016

New York
Giants
23
The Giants can clinch a playoff berth with a victory here. The Eagles would love to ruin it. But the Giants defense is playing too well right now. I think thatís the difference.
Result: NY Giants 19, Philadelphia Eagles 24
Philadelphia
Eagles
17

Miami
Dolphins
21
Both of these teams are still alive in the playoff race, but Miami much more alive. They are playing consecutive road games, which is tough, but they ran through the Bills when they beat them the first time and I think they can have the same success. Dolphins keep rolling.
Result: Miami Dolphins 34, Buffalo Bills 31
Buffalo
Bills
20

Atlanta
Falcons
31
The Panthers impressed Monday beating up the Redskins. The Falcons ended their perfect season in 2015, so you know they like to ruin the Falcons playoff chances. One problem: Atlanta is too good. Their offense wins another.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 33, Carolina Panthers 16
Carolina
Panthers
24

Chicago
Bears
23
The Redskins looked awful in losing Monday night to the Panthers. That wonít change here. They just arenít good on defense. The Bears are still scrapping.
Result: Chicago Bears 21, Washington Redskins 41
Washington
Redskins
21

San Diego
Chargers
27
Is this the chance for the Browns to get their first victory? It looks like it. But the Chargers are far from pushovers. You wonder where the motivation will be, but Philip Rivers wonít let his team go flat. Chargers take it.
Result: San Diego Chargers 17, Cleveland Browns 20
Cleveland
Browns
13

Green Bay
Packers
28
If the Packers win out, they win the NFC North. It starts with the Vikings this week. Minnesota was terrible against the Colts last week, and it continues. Aaron Rodgers will continue his push to be in the MVP talk.
Result: Green Bay Packers 38, Minnesota Vikings 25
Minnesota
Vikings
17

Tennessee
Titans
20
It will be Doug Marrone leading the Jaguars the final two weeks, with this his first game. You know the Jaguars hate the Titans and would love to ruin their season. They will keep it close, but I think the Titans win it late.
Result: Tennessee Titans 17, Jacksonville Jaguars 38
Jacksonville
Jaguars
18

New England
Patriots
33
The Patriots are 16 1/2Ėpoint favorites. Thatís unreal. But the Jets seemed to have packed their bags for a beach location. They are done. New England will blow them out.
Result: New England Patriots 41, NY Jets 3
New York
Jets
10

Oakland
Raiders
30
The Colts are will be trying to stay in the playoff race, but they are playing consecutive road games. And this is against a good team. Even so, I think Andrew Luck will keep the Colts in this one. It will be close, but Oakland finds a way late.
Result: Oakland Raiders 33, Indianapolis Colts 25
Indianapolis
Colts
28

New Orleans
Saints
27
The Bucs are playing consecutive road games, and this one is after a Sunday night game. The Saints looked good in beating Arizona, but Tampa Bay beat them two weeks ago. Payback comes here. Saints take it.
Result: New Orleans Saints 31, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24
Tampa Bay
Buccaneers
20

Los Angeles
Rams
20
This is the dog game of the week. These two teams have long been playing out the string, and one is looking for a new coach, while the other could be. The 49ers are playing consecutive road games, so Iíll go with the Rams.
Result: Los Angeles Rams 21, San Francisco 49ers 22
San Francisco
49ers
13

Seattle
Seahawks
27
This looked like it would be a big late-season game, but the Cardinals have flopped. The Seahawks are pushing for a seed, so they will play hard here. I think Arizona will keep it close, but Seattle finds a way with a late drive by Russell Wilson.
Result: Seattle Seahawks 31, Arizona Cardinals 34
Arizona
Cardinals
24

Houston
Texans
17
This game means nothing for the Bengals, while the Texans are pushing to a division title. Houston is going with Tom Savage at quarterback after benching Brock Osweiler. Starting is a lot different than coming off the bench. Thatís why I think this will be close.
Result: Houston Texans 12, Cincinnati Bengals 10
Cincinnati
Bengals
14

Pittsburgh
Steelers
23
This is one of the top games this week with the division title on the line. If the Steelers win it, they win the division. They lost to the Ravens earlier, but that will change here. It will be a tough game, but the Steelers offense will get the best of the Ravens defense in the end.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 31, Baltimore Ravens 27
Baltimore
Ravens
14

Kansas City
Chiefs
17
The Broncos need to win this to have any playoff chance, while the Chiefs need it to stay pace with the Raiders. Kansas City has lost two of three games at home, which isnít like the Chiefs. They will win this one, but it will be tight -- really tight.
Result: Kansas City Chiefs 33, Denver Broncos 10
Denver
Broncos
16

Monday, Dec. 26, 2016

Dallas
Cowboys
27
This is a tough turnaround for the Lions. They lost on the road to the Giants and now must go play the NFCís top team in their place. Thatís brutal. They will keep it close, but Dallas is too good. In the end, Ezekiel Elliott is the difference.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 42, Detroit Lions 21
Detroit
Lions
21
