NY Jets 13, Denver Broncos 17
21This is Tim Tebow against Rex Ryan, the spread option against a supposedly good defense. The Jets are coming off a blowout loss to the Patriots at home that saw their defense pushed around. The Broncos have won two consecutive games without throwing the ball. They can't do that against the Jets. Ryan gets his team to bounce back against an offensive-limited team.
Result: NY Jets 13, Denver Broncos 17

Cincinnati Bengals 24, Baltimore Ravens 31
21Both these teams lost last week, which makes this an even bigger division game. The Ravens have bounced back in a big way after losses, so that doesn't bode well for the Bengals. Both these teams are good on defense, which should make for a low-scoring game. The Ravens win it, but the Bengals keep it close.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 31, Cincinnati Bengals 24
17
Jacksonville Jaguars 10, Cleveland Browns 14
19The Browns have lost three consecutive games, but the Jaguars are playing consecutive road games. This might be a chance for Cleveland to break the streak. The problem is their offense is so limited, while the Jaguars have the sixth-ranked scoring defense. That shows up here in a low-scoring game.
Result: Jacksonville Jaguars 10, Cleveland Browns 14
14
Carolina Panthers 35, Detroit Lions 49
28The Lions are coming off a horrible loss to the Bears, while Carolina looked awful against the Titans. Detroit has to rebound here to show they are close to being the same team that got off to such a great start. The Panthers are really struggling on defense, so I look for Matt Stafford to get it cranked up after a bad game last week.
Result: Detroit Lions 49, Carolina Panthers 35
17
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26, Green Bay Packers 35
31The Bucs were so bad last week against the Texans that coach Raheem Morris had them in pads twice this week. The Bucs didn't tackle at all. That's suicide against the Packers and their quick passing game. The Packers will get their points. Can Tampa Bay keep up? No, but they do keep it closer than some think.
Result: Green Bay Packers 35, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26
21
Buffalo Bills 8, Miami Dolphins 35
24Miami has won two consecutive games to blow any chance the Dolphins had to get Andrew Luck. The defense has really stepped it up and will provide a nice test for the Buffalo offense. The Bills have cooled on that side of the ball the past two weeks, and if they want to have any shot to win the division they have to get it going here. Miami is too good on defense for that to happen. Dolphins win a third straight.
Result: Miami Dolphins 35, Buffalo Bills 8
21
Oakland Raiders 27, Minnesota Vikings 21
28The Vikings had big problems on offense against the Packers, and they didn't do a whole lot to stop Aaron Rodgers either. The Raiders are playing consecutive road games, but they looked comfortable with Carson Palmer in San Diego and this is 11 days after that game. I think that helps. The Raiders take it.
Result: Oakland Raiders 27, Minnesota Vikings 21
17
Dallas Cowboys 27, Washington Redskins 24
30The Cowboys are surging, while the Redskins are flopping. Washington has quarterback issues that show up every week. They also have protection problems. I look for DeMarcus Ware to have a huge game here. Tony Romo keeps his hot streak in a blowout.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 27, Washington Redskins 24
14
Arizona Cardinals 7, San Francisco 49ers 23
24The 49ers are off to an 8-1 start and have a lock on the division. The Cardinals are playing their second consecutive road game after upsetting the Eagles last week. John Skelton looked good in that game and will start here. The 49ers defense is a significant upgrade from the Eagles. Skelton doesn't play as well here.
Result: San Francisco 49ers 23, Arizona Cardinals 7
10
Seattle Seahawks 24, St. Louis Rams 7
21These two teams battled on the final week of the season last year for the division title. Now they're playing for pride. Both teams showed last week that they are still competing by winning. Both teams are limited offensively. I'll go with Sam Bradford over Tarvaris Jackson and Steven Jackson over Marshawn Lynch.
Result: St. Louis Rams 7, Seattle Seahawks 24
14
Tennessee Titans 17, Atlanta Falcons 23
27The Titans are playing consecutive road games outside the division. That's tough to do. They looked good blowing out the Panthers, but this NFC South team is much better than that. Atlanta will be stewing over the loss to the Saints in overtime. And coach Mike Smith has been good in this spot reacting to a loss. They take it out on the Titans.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 23, Tennessee Titans 17
17
San Diego Chargers 20, Chicago Bears 31
27The Bears have turned their season around, while the Chargers have flopped by losing four consecutive games. The Bears have made some big plays on defense, while San Diego has had problems turning the ball over. That will be in play here. The Chargers have to get it turned around. It won't be easy here, but I think Philip Rivers finds a way.
Result: San Diego Chargers 20, Chicago Bears 31
23
Philadelphia Eagles 17, NY Giants 10
31Mike Vick has broken ribs and his availability is unknown. If he can't go, it means Vince Young starts. If he can, he is banged up and will have to stay in the pocket. Either way, it's a win for the Giants. They are home after two road games, and they will be play like it. The Eagles are in big trouble here. The Giants pass rush will dominate, no matter who plays quarterback for the Eagles.
Result: NY Giants 10, Philadelphia Eagles 17

Kansas City Chiefs 3, New England Patriots 34
30This is Tyler Palko vs. Tom Brady. No, really. With Matt Cassel out for the year with a hand injury, Palko will start against the Patriots. Wonder if ESPN wished they had the ability to flex out of this one? Look for Brady and the Patriots to roll easily here.
Result: New England Patriots 34, Kansas City Chiefs 3
